David was introduced to yoga as a modality to regain range of motion after being limited by injuries. Yoga's healing potential remains at the foundation of David's continuing practice. Beyond the physical healing, the study of yoga uses the asana as a way to witness, develop and integrate physical awarenesses, mental clarity, control and emotional intelligence.
As the Sanskrit translation of Yoga would indicate, Yoga is union and a tool to unite the aspects of you into its intended whole.
David completed his 200 hr Hatha YTT with Jill Lawson. He has traveled twice to Rishikesh, India to immerse himself in yoga studies with respected teachers Surinder Singh and Ashish Sharma.
David's yogic style is an integration of Hatha and Iyengar combined with influences from athletic development and physical therapy.
